Living Lotus Massage is hiring a Licensed Massage Practitioner for our busy wellness and medical massage clinic
located in the 5th Avenue Professional Building at Northgate. Well established after eight years of operation,
Living Lotus Massage focuses on wellness massage for our clients, and medical massage for our growing base of medical insurance,
auto insurance and workers compensation insurance patients.
Injury Treatment / Wellness Massage LMP:
Living Lotus Massage has a current opening for an experienced, part-time, medical massage / injury
treatment massage practitioner (contract position). Compensation: $35 per massage session.
Shifts:
- Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 7:30 pm
- Wednesday: 9:00 pm - 1:00 pm
- Friday: 1:00 pm - 7:30 pm
- Two Saturday shifts per month: 9:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Minimum qualifications include:
- Active WA state LMP license,
- 1 year experience as a LMP,
- 1 year experience providing injury treatment,
- Ability to quickly and efficiently complete session charts,
- Liability/malpractice insurance coverage,
- WA business license (contract position),
- Reliable transportation,
- Organized and reliable approach to work,
- Ability to work independently,
- Demonstrates professionalism and integrity at all times.
Clinic related responsibilities include:
- Writing patient progress reports,
- Some appointment scheduling,
- Collecting insurance co-pays,
- Logging massage sessions completed.
Additional qualifications (desired not required):
- Spanish langauge abilities,
- Graduate of a 1000 hour massage program,
- Insurance provider status for Regence, Aetna, First Choice, LifeWise, Premera or Uniform.
